Background
Mr Edmond Minghua Li is a qualified and registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner who graduated from Southern School of Natural Therapy in 2012 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine). Committed to deepening his clinical foundation, he undertook a clinical internship at the Chinese Medicine Integrate Hospital of Southern Medical University — exposure to the integrated hospital setting that shaped his understanding of both the modern and classical approach to diagnosis and treatment.
In 2015, Mr Li continued further training in acupuncture at the same university's clinical facility, before undertaking specialised courses in acupuncture and acupotomy from 2016 to 2017 under the direct tutelage of a professor from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. That thread of instruction — from a foundational degree, through clinical immersion, to advanced study under a professor from one of China's foremost institutions — informs the steady, considered way he approaches each patient's treatment.
He is a registered member of the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) — the profession's two primary Australian regulatory and professional bodies. At 55 Knights Drive, Glen Waverley, he practises acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha and remedial oil massage — six modalities combined and tailored to the individual.
